My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

November is men’s mental health month, where charities and organisations come together, to not just raise money, but also awareness for men’s mental health.

This November, I will be challenging myself to run for 24 hours, a slight change from two laps or the running track. I will be aiming to raise £1500 for the Movember charity.

My challenge will be starting in my own village of Newton upon Ouse, and I will be aiming to finish near the York minster. This challenge will not be limited to me as an individual, and I welcome anyone and everyone who would like to participate, for any distance and or time, and even if you don’t fancy running any support and encouragement is massively appreciated.

Having not only struggled myself with mental health, but have many people who are very close to me struggle with it also, i feel very personal about this topic, and I understand how hard it is for men to reach out for support and hope this will encourage people to speak up about how they feel and why they are struggling and feeling the way they do, and for people to realise that they are never alone.
