My motivation

To support Men’s Mental Health I am going to do something big, something personal and something that goes deeper than just fundraising. I am shaving my head!

While any donations would be amazing, what I would truly like is for you to like, share and even comment on this and future posts going out over the next few weeks.

Why shave my head I hear you ask? Well it’s about breaking down barriers, challenging stigmas and encouraging men to talk openly about their struggles. This doesn’t need to be on social media for all to see, but to your partner, your best friend, a family member, anyone you feel most comfortable who will listen. And trust me we will listen.

By shaving my head I hope this will start conversations from “Jack, why have you shaved your head?” Or “Did you see that guy who shaved his head out of the blue?” To conversations about Movember and the great work they do. The statistics that “One man dies by suicide every minute world wide”.

So let’s start with a simple like and share. If you can show your support and help this reach as many people as possible that would be amazing!
