My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Last year in June I received a phone call I will never ever forget. I never imagined I’d lose one of my male friends to suicide.

Phil was the kind of man who made you feel like the most important person in the room…his positivity, warmth, and humour were unmatched. I only had the privilege of knowing him for a couple of years, but he was one of those rare souls you meet and never forget. He was an incredibly friendly, funny, loyal and charismatic man and he changed my life forever when he trusted me to raise one of his beautiful Loxley’s pups…Hampton!

This bike ride is for Phil. It’s my way of remembering him, honouring the joy he brought into the world, and just maybe, raising some money for Movember, the leading charity changing the face of men’s health.

Men’s mental health is a crisis we don’t talk about enough. Too many men suffer in silence, believing they have to be strong by staying quiet. It’s time to change that!

Every mile I ride is for Phil, and for any man who needs to know they’re not alone. I’m so excited to have 3 of the best men in my life, Alistair, Mark & Alex cycle alongside me on June 15th!
