My story.
I am passionate about supporting men’s mental health because I have personally experienced the struggles and received help when I thought I could not go on anymore.
In 2019, something happened that changed my life and the lives of my family forever. I was involved in an accident, and I was the only survivor. This experience profoundly affected both my personal and professional life; at one point, I reached a state where I wanted to die because I felt I could not be the father or husband my family needed. I lost countless hours of sleep due to pain and distressing thoughts.
The impact on my professional life was also severe. I had to sell many personal belongings just to pay my expenses. Thankfully, my wife noticed that I was struggling and recognised that I needed help. She urged me to reach out to a crisis team, and I began treatment with doctors who prescribed antidepressants.
It took a year of recovery, but today, five years later, I am in a much better place, thanks to the support I received from mental health professionals and my family.
Life can throw us unexpected challenges, and when things get tough, it can feel like we are on the edge. Sometimes, we just need a helping hand to steer us back on the right path.
I ask for your support for this important cause—men’s mental health. Please consider donating, no matter how small or large, as it can save lives. It certainly saved mine.
