My motivation

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be running the 2025 Manchester Marathon to raise awareness for men’s mental health. My journey began in April 2024, when a friend inspired me to start running. At first, I was the most unfit I’d ever been, and even running a single kilometre felt like a challenge. But that struggle pales in comparison to the mental health battles thousands of men face every day. I believe everyone deserves access to support, which is why I’m dedicated to this marathon, with all donations going to Movember—an organization committed to improving men’s health. Let’s work together to break the stigma! Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Help me stop men dying too young.
