Newcastle to Istanbul.

2 best friends.

11 countries.

4 months (probably).

5,500 kilometers.

(... or 3,500 miles, if that’s how you prefer to measure things)

We’re Steve and Paul McDougal, a father and son cycling from Newcastle to Istanbul.

We’ve never done anything like this before.

... but (like most people reading this), both our lives have been touched by cancer and mental health issues.

So, if we’re gonna be doing this adventure anyway, why not raise some money along the way?

We’ll be having a laugh, getting lost a lot, and occasionally posting stuff on social media.

… oh, and we’ll be wearing Newcastle United football shirts the entire way. Cos every charity drive needs a gimmick.
