My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

In April 2023 I will be taking on the challange of a 14,000 mile solo motorcycle ride from the UK to the "Stans" of Cental Asia and back to the UK; To put mental health on the map.

I have witness the stigma and shame associated with mental health, it prevents people from reaching out and getting the help they desperately need. The hardest part for some, is just being be able to talk to friends and family and they don`t because they are embarrassed or worst of all, their friends have already abandon them due to their coping mechanisms they have learnt to rely on, such as bad behaviour or alcohol. We need to take this stigma away and look at MH as you would any other illness. No one feels stigma or shame to say they feel physical pain, they ask for help almost immediately. It needs to be the same with mental pain.

My aim with this ride is a simple one - to put mental health on the map.
