Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. After suffering with crippling anxiety earlier in my life I understand how it can feel to keep things to yourself and bottle things up. I'm a firm believer that if we make the conversation around men's mental health louder, we can encourage those suffering in silence to open up about what they are going through and we can support each other, rather than feeling isolated in our struggles.
