My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

As many of you will know, these are causes close to my heart. Three years ago my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer after a family friend encouraged him to have a PSA blood test. He was totally asymptomatic. After an operation two years ago and radiotherapy last year, he is doing well - touch wood - but not everyone is so lucky and, unfortunately, I, like many others, have lost friends to what is an awful disease. A word of thanks to Southmead hospital and the Bristol Royal Infirmary, who have both been brilliant along a testing journey. These kind of institutions need more help.

Globally, more than 1.4m men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Please help me stop men dying too young.

I’m also going to be running 60km across November - 60km for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour across the world.
