Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

The last couple of years with lockdowns & Covid etc have had a profound effect on everyone's mental health across the globe. Unfortunately mental health is not talked about enough and men in particular are notoriously bad about opening up and talking about their own mental health.

Focussing on suicide in England, sadly the stats are shocking; according to the ONS, 4,217 men took their own lives in 2019 which is an average of 12 per day. This is an increase of 6% from 2018 which in-turn had already had an increase of 14% from 2017. This is a worrying trend but with the support that charities like Movember can provide, I hope that we can raise awareness for men's mental health and help get men the support they need when they need it most.

So if you know a mate or family member is feeling low, or maybe they suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or are undergoing cancer treatment, make sure you give them a call and offer the support you can because the more we talk to each other, the more we can help each other with our mental health just as we would our physical health such as motivating a mate to come on a cycle or go on a run!

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.
