My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Mr Robert Byrne the phenom, is our Motivation. Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. This Movember i am doing my bit to raise awareness and try and help to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030. Please help me stop men dying too young like my boy Robbie (pictured front left) who took his life 3 years ago in the middle of the first covid lockdown. We love and miss you Bob, Take'em.

Look out for Dom and I in an upcoming edition of “In the Barbershop” (or in this case outside one) on the Movember website and Insta page. It was great to meet some of the Movember crew! Still cannot believe how much money we have raised thanks to you lovely people! We love you all x

What is there left to say??!! Thanks to your INCREDIBLE support, we have raised £4,230 in aid of suicide prevention. Today would have been Robbie’s 35th birthday, and the legend that is Alex Hignell has saved his best for last! Very Nice!

He’s done it again! Our Alex just keeps raising the bar with these weekly photo shoots, this time with an homage to the legendary Chuckle brothers Barry and Paul. How he will top this is anybody’s guess!

Thank you to the little legend that is Brucie, Robbie’s beaut French Bulldog, for helping us get all the way to £3,620! This is so far above what we thought was possible. Staggered by your support and generosity! Thank you so much and, in the words of Bob himself, Take’m xxx

As we approach our final Movember week, Dom has managed to dig up this old gem of Robbie, who could never have grown a tache as mesmerising as this for real but carries this stick on off with aplomb!

Day 2. Wow a £1k in 24 hours, thank you all so very much. Robbie was truly loved. We will be adding weekly photo updates. We are just hopeful that Alex's Tache doesn't consume his entire face. Take'em
