My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there.
Help me stop men dying too young. On July 6th 2019, my cousin Tom became one of the 60 men that die each hour, every hour of the year from suicide. Mental health is an issue that most if not all people suffer with throughout their lives, and too many people lose their battles within.
My facial hair resembles an infant child’s facial hair, it simply does not grow. So this month I shall be cycling the length of Wales. With any donations Movember can continue to tackle this epidemic and hopefully we as men overcome our demons more often.
I am fortunate to have so many strong men in my life, many of which suffer from mental health issues. Thankfully most are still here with me today. It's ok to not be ok. The sooner we learn this the better.

I ran 5 km00:32:45

Last two days I played football twice and ran 10km so my times were slower.
I finally hit the 60km which was very difficult. I started 6 days late and then had a chest infection.
I'll put myself as today's male. It's important to be happy with yourself as a person, and I am.
I am happiest with my girlfriend and friends, so here is a picture of me on my birthday, surrounded by friends.
I'd also like to thank everyone that donated.

The source of my pain.
Losing a father really does things to your mental health. It has been 5 years 7 months and 15 days.
Not a day goes by where I don't think about you. Every judgement I make its as if you're in mind. I no longer talk about you, I can't hear your name and I avoid the subject. It's unhealthy.
Another day done.
I love you and miss you.

I ran 4 km00:24:12

Today I have an exception to the male rule. There are two women in my life that keep me going.
This is my mother and I, and my beautiful girlfriend Kelsea Shea.
Just like most men, I have my struggles with my mental health, some of which my mum knows about, and nearly all my girlfriend knows about. Regardless of what is bothering me, both will do their best to make me ok, and that is the support I need.
Without either of these women, I would certainly not be the person I am.
I love you both dearly.

I ran 23 km02:26:00

This is Roger, my grampy. (The 23km was ran over 7 different runs)
I am grateful for everything you have ever done for me, you bought my pride and joy (first car), you support me endlessly whether it be financially or emotionally. You've been the male role model I've needed. The one element throughout my life which has been constantly stable was you. I can not thank you enough for helping raising me.

I ran 3 km00:17:51

Ran 3km in the gym today.
This is Lewis. I met Lewis in university and I am very fortunate to have lived in the room next to him for the whole duration of my studies. A Valleys boi who is incredibly kind. Always thoughtful and I've had some of my favourite moments with. I am doubtful that I'd still be in university without him. Uni can be a very lonely difficult place to be, but with the support of the right people everyday feels like a holiday. Thank you for being there for me, and I hope you're always a part of my life even after uni.

I ran 8 km01:02:52

Ran 8km outdoors today over to Mumbles Pier which is the furthest I have ran in a long time. The time includes 2 breaks I took, albeit short. Today's male is Llywelyn. Llywelyn is someone who certainly frustrates me at times, but certainly has made me a better person. Llywelyn came out gay as a teenager, and being a white straight male, I have never noticed any discrimination based on sexual orientation or race. The way Llywelyn deals with people is insane. I hope he is proud and confident of himself, because he definitely should be. I'm proud of you mate.

I ran 3 km00:19:55

Ran 1km outdoors than the rest in the gym. Ill today so it was much harder.
Today's male is Dan, my best mate. An individual that I've been lucky to call my mate for several years now. Dan manages to wind me up a lot of the time, but he's someone I can go to when I've got an issue and he'll help me solve it. I hope he'll always be in my life as he's a good friend I know I'll always need.

I ran 3 km00:17:42

Third day complete. Ran 3km outdoors today.
Today's male is Robert. A man I'm incredibly fortunate to know, and to call family. According to my sister he's the best man to ever walk the earth, and I'm grateful you take such good care of my sister and nieces/nephew. Rob was probably the first person who spoke to me like an adult rather than a child, and I know if I ever needed anything I could go to him.

I ran 3 km00:19:01

First day was difficult. Did 2km at the start of my workout and then finished with 1km after weight training. Every day I update this page I plan on uploading a picture of either me and a man that has influenced my life, or the individual themselves.
Today's person is Tom, who is the main reason I decided to raise money this year. I'm sorry you felt the way you did, and I'm even more sorry you had to face your demons alone. I love and miss you Tom.
