raised £875 since 2019
My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

The stigma is that we're all a bit too soft skinned these days - I hate that. I think it's important not to gloss over the fact that mental health has been a serious concern for generations - just because something isn't dealt with properly, doesn't mean it isn't there.

For those of you who know me personally, or those who've found there way here through my nerdy ass hobbies, welcome.

It's the third year I'm fundraising for Movember, and as is the trend I figured I'd make it once again harder for myself in an attempt to pry donations from your wallets. With that said, given the economic state of things, please do not feel any pressure to donate if unable - even just moral support will be highly appreciated in getting me through the month!

The Goals:
Grow a mo' (no shit, right?).
60 minutes of exercise every day without fail.
1000 calories burnt each day (using scuffed Apple Watch tracking).
250KM ran/biked (indoor/outdoor).
5KM 'run' completed - I *despise* running, with a deep passion.
NO takeaways (for those who know me... oh lord this one sucks).
NO smoking (as above...).
NO alcohol (this one hurt to type, send your prayers my way).
...and the worst of all, NO TCG related purchases for the entirity of November, with the exception of tournament entries (FNM, etc).
'Weight Loss' (explained below).

For any 'goal' failed, I'll be making some donations, these are as follows:
Per 'failure' (single drink, takeaway, day missed on exercise, etc) - £100 donated.
Per KG gained during November - £250 donated.
Per KM missed during November - £25 donated.

If every friend, colleague, family member, etc donate as little as £5, we'll be smashing the fund raising goal in no time, and helping out a fantastic cause.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

Well, we made it the full way through.

There were a few rough days, but for the most part as per usual I actually started to 'enjoy' it.

I won't ramble for long, but I hugely appreciate all the donations - I know it's a grain of rice in an ocean, but hopefully it'll go towards making a small difference to someone who needs it.

As always, try and make a positive impact in this world. Life is far too short, and taken for granted far too often.

I'll likely be back next year, and I'll be sure to make it harder - it's not fun without any suffering, amirite?

Here's a stupid picture of this horrendous moustache.

118 Week(s) Ago

So lucky number 13 was hell - I had mentally accepted just donating the forfeit at 3PM with a banging headache, 0 minutes of exercise and around 100 calories burnt for the day.

Hadn’t even put my watch on till near midday, but we made it - just!

I cycled 22 km

So I did 2KM, then the machine broke. Moved to another bike, 3.5KM, machine broke. Finished off 16.5KM on one that did not break.

TLDR:
No photos. LSLC bikes are temperamental.
