My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health; investing funds into mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. After a tough year, it's more important now than ever to check in on each other.

Movember focus on the number 60, because this is how many men die each hour by sucide globally. That's one man a minute.

So this year I'm joining Movember by:
Week 1: walking 60km (come rain or shine)
Week 2: Hand writing 60 letters to family/friends (roughly 15 mins per letter = 15 hours total)
Week 3: 60 mins a day of quality time with loved ones (no distractions, no phone, no TV, no tech etc.) Food permitted though, obviously.
Week 4: walking to 60 London tube stations with my Papà (dad). The walk will take place in one day, covering 50km, and will roughly take 10-12 hours.

I know this year hasn't been easy, but if you can spare a few ££, it would be greatly appreciated!

Week 2 challenge complete: write 60 cards/notes to friends and family. In an age of technology this definitely tested my patience (typing is A LOT quicker than writing) and hand writing skills (mine suck). But if nothing else, it made me feel good to write these!

Week 1 challenge complete: walk 60km.

Previous year's moves

Hello to all our fan-tash-tic Emergency Services supporters,

HUGE congrats on reaching over £110k! You guys have gone above and beyond for men's health this Movember. We are truly grateful for all your fantastic devotion to facial hair, your unwavering commitment to move, and your hair raising hosting skillz.

Just a little reminder that the challenge leaderboards don't officially close until the 9th December at 10pm, so there's still some time to get those final donations in.

If you have any questions, just drop me an email at olivia.giacon@movember.com

Hey Liv

I work at Mo HQ (have you heard of me? I'm sort of a big deal), I wanted to to say it's great to have you onboard the Mo Train for the first time this year and a HUGE well done on your fundraising, £165 is brilliant, so close to your target already! I know it’s not always easy asking for donations so to help you keep up your Mo-mentum, why not remind people how their donations are making a difference to men’s health? This video is a great way of doing this so why not share it when you ask for donations?

Keep Mo-ing, there’s still a lot to be done before the end of the month.

Jez
P.S. The office needs more Jaffa Cakes.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
