Last week, HRH the Duchess of Gloucester visited Movember's European HQ, fulfilling her role as Royal Patron of Prostate Cancer UK – one of Movember’s men’s health partners in the UK.

Members of Movember UK’s team greeted The Duchess and discussed the charity’s history, the programmes it funds and the most recent campaign. Two representatives from Jupiter Fund Management were also invited to meet The Duchess. Jupiter’s Chief Investment Officer John Chatfield-Roberts and Finance Operations Manager Chris Gardiner are part of the highest fundraising team of 2013, raising a total of £89,000 this Movember. Over the past three years, the Jupiter team have raised close to a quarter of a million pounds for prostate and testicular cancer and men’s mental health.

Her Royal Highness also spent time meeting Ruth Potts, Movember Operations Team Manager and talked with various members of the operations team. She was astonished that the team had responded to over 25,000 emails throughout the 2013 season, ensuring a memorable campaign for each Mo Bro, Mo Sista and Donor.

Also present were Prostate Cancer UK’s Chief Executive Owen Sharp and Trustee Professor Roger Kirby. They both took the opportunity to express thanks and gratitude to the Movember team and to congratulate the high fundraising guests from Jupiter Fund Management.
