2020 has been a big year of challenges and curveballs for us all, but it has me feeling more inspired than ever to rally together and do a whole lot of good.

Seeing my son and husband struggling in their own way through the lockdown, and close relatives having their cancer treatment delayed due to COVID-19 – these past few months have hit close to home and underscored how men’s health is more important now than ever. We need to continue driving groundbreaking work in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. But we need your help.

Whether you Grow, take on the Move challenge, get your mates together for a virtual event or create your own challenge (we call it Mo Your Own Way), just know that you’ll be making a real difference in the lives of real men.

Men like 21-year-old student Stewart Morgan, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer last year and found Movember True North, a digital resource filled with information and support when he needed it most. And Geordie Jim, who’s living with terminal prostate cancer, and is determined to raise £100,000 for men’s health, and to ensure every man he meets is aware of the disease. And men like James Martin, who came close to taking his own life in 2010. Today, James is one of our Community Ambassadors, and shares his powerful story to help others live happier, healthier lives.

Each and every experience serves as a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. And why we need you with us.

So, are you in? If there’s one thing I can promise it’s that you’ll have a whole lot of fun while doing a whole lot of good – and I know we could all do with a bit of fun right now.

To get on board for Movember 2020, head here. It might just be the most important Mo you’ll ever grow.

Thank you and Mo on,

Anne-Cécile Berthier
