If your eyes were locked on the action as Fulham FC welcomed Brentford to Craven Cottage on November 4, you would’ve seen the iconic Movember moustache on hoardings around the pitch. While those there live would’ve felt and seen the Movember presence on screens around the grounds and in the match day programme.

And all for good reason. Movember and Fulham FC’s partnership has just been extended to 2027. It’s a relationship that started in 2022, when Movember’s Ahead of the Game mental fitness program was first delivered throughout all levels of the Fulham Football Club Foundation. It teaches young athletes, parents and coaches how to spot the signs of poor mental health, how to approach and support any team member dealing with it, as well as the steps to overcome challenges that might pop up for young players on and off the field.

Currently, Movember Ahead of the Game has supported over 1,400 young players, parents and coaches to build healthier and more resilient communities in and around their team environments.

Over the next 3 years, the program is expanding to partner with 24 more pro-sport club foundations across England and Wales with the aim of reaching more than 100,000 participants.
