This Movember, we’re not asking men to be experts in mental health, but we can all be each other’s wingmen.
Movember has been proudly partnering with L’Oreal Men Expert for five years and their wingmen, Peter Crouch, Jamie Redknapp and Jermaine Jenas, who themselves are helping to challenge stereotypes by discussing the benefits of opening up and how reaching out for help had carried them through difficult times.
It’s not always easy to open up when times get tough, or to start a conversation with a mate who may be struggling. But reaching out and not shying away from important conversations is key to helping men stay mentally healthy.
That’s why our partnership is on a mission to challenge the stigma around men opening up and help encourage men of all ages to show their vulnerable side with pride and start a conversation. A key aim of the Be a Wingman campaign is to encourage everyone to reach out to the men in their lives.
