My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Three years ago my Grandad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Unfortunately his diagnosis came too late and he died soon after leaving his family devastated. Six months after his death, my uncle (his son) was also diagnosed with prostate cancer but this time the diagnosis was early enough that my uncle was able to recieve treatment and make a full recovery, highlighting the importance of awareness and early treatment.

In November I turn 50 so wanted to mark the occasion by raising money for prostate cancer awareness and mens health in general and the Movember movement was an obvious choice to fundraise for. Although we decided to cycle the 1000 miles in June rather than November!
