My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Being from a small town in Ireland I know too well that the idea of having mental health issues being a sign of weakness is still very much an issue.

After moving away to Scotland (Aberdeen) and seeing that this stigma was already being challenged it was refreshing but the statistics around men's mental health are still very shocking.

I have been very fortunate to have close friends/family that have helped me through tougher times and encouraged me to talk but not everyone has them 'Proactive' friends.

By participating in this marathon, I aim to break down these barriers and promote open conversations about mental health among men. Your support will help fund vital programs that can make a real difference in saving lives and improving mental health outcomes
