For the past 4yrs I've been on a long hard journey with my own mental health, resulting in my medical discharge from the military and having a whole host of other life changing events along the way. Raising awareness for men's suicide prevention is a subject very close to my heart and I believe that people need to know that it's ok to talk. Just because it's not an injury that you can physically see, doesn't make it any less important. Us men need to stand together and along with the help of the ladies in our lives, to lift the stigma that mental health has.
