My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

'Masochist' - a person who enjoys an activity that appears to be painful or tedious.

Am I a masochist? why else would I, someone who is absolutely not a runner enter a marathon..?

Well the truth is I am not a masochist.. I just have a very important cause that I want to raise awareness and money for - Movember.

Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. Men are dying too young.

I feel a personal connection to Movember as they represent three things within men’s health that are very close to my heart :

- Prostate cancer
- Testicular cancer
- Mental health and suicide prevention

As you may know I've had a pretty close run in with all three of those things with losing my Dad to prostate cancer and having been diagnosed with testicular cancer myself last year, and I think everyone is affected by mental health issues.

So, I am supporting Movember. They know what works for men, and how to find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. They’re independent of government funding, so they can challenge the status quo and invest quicker in what works. In 15 years they’ve funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world.

I'd LOVE it if you could support me on this journey too. Any donation no matter how big or small is massively appreciated.

Thank you for reading.
