My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Earlier this year I lost an amazing friend to suicide.
Matt, or Baz as we affectionately knew him, was the brightest light in every room he was ever in.
I miss him every day.

Globally, on average, 1 man dies by suicide, every minute. These people are dads, husbands, brothers, sons and friends. Their deaths leave trauma, grief, anger, confusion, shock and deep, deep sadness.

The issue of suicide is complex; Movember are doing a powerful job in bringing the conversation about men’s mental health into the mainstream and helping fund mental health and suicide prevention charities and projects.

So that’s why I’ll be growing a moustache this month to raise a little money to help Movember continue the incredibly important work they’re doing to help prevent male suicide.

Please donate a little if you can.

Sam - we are so sorry for your loss. A close friend of ours also took his own life on July 1. We miss him every day too, but nothing compares to the way his 15 year old son and his Mum feel trying to cope without him. Hopefully they will feel the benefit of support that couldn’t reach our Dan in time.
