Ben Andrews
3  year  Mo Bro

£11,765

Target: £10,000
raised £29,597 since 2019
My motivation

I started doing this initially because prostate cancer runs pretty deep in my family but the mental health epidemic among men doesn’t seem to be getting any better so this is now what drives me on.

How I'm
getting involved
0 of 285 kilometres
running
Going to run/walk the length of Offa’s Dyke on the England/Wales border. And before you ask, I’ll be doing it fully clothed but if we hit the target of £10k then yes, I’ll do a calendar!

Better late than never?

Also, Farm, if that's still a thing - but really just keep doing what you're doing!

Cannot believe the support this year. Thank you all so much!! Just over £1300 to go until we hid the £10k mark. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t competitive but this is about a lot more than just hitting some arbitrary target - it goes to help stop men from dying young. So once again, huge thank you for digging deep in such a difficult year. X

Hey!

Thank you you for signing up for Movember 2021, it’s great to have you back!

Thanks to Mo legends like you, in 2020 we were able to invest over £66million AUD in our key investment areas of mental health and suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer research and survivorship and men’s health education and awareness.

If there is anything we can do to help make this Movember a success, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I hope you have a great month!

Ok, let’s stretch it and see how much further we can go. Pushed it to £15k. Why the hell not

Hey Ben,

We thank you for your commitment in support of prostate cancer projects and wish you strength and luck in your £10k = 1000 burpee challenge, in the second year on your Mo Bro journey.

Thanks to you, we are able to change men’s lives with breakthroughs like Olaparib, a precision medicine that has been proven to extend survival for some men with advanced prostate cancer. You can find out more at https://uk.movember.com/story/view/id/12266/

We appreciate and salute you.

WHOOP! Bang on £2k

BOOOOM! Day 2 and we're 10% of the way. At this rate we'll ash £10k easily.

57 Week(s) Ago

Day one and we’re already over £600! If we can do that every day for the month then we’ll smash the target and I’ll have to do more burpees in one day than I’ve ever done in my life.

So 2020 has been shit so let's boost morale with some fundraising for a bloody good cause. This year I'm aiming to hit the £10k mark. Big ask but if 1/4 of my followers donated £1 we'd smash it.
I'll be doing 1 burpee for every £10 raised and yes, if we get to £10k, as requested I'm will do them in Budgie Smugglers. So that would be 1000 burpees.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
