Hello All!
That time of year again- where we all attempt to grow some hair above our top lip in order to raise awareness for men’s health, whether that be physical or mental.

In October 2019, I lost my stepdad Kev to a sudden, catastrophic cardiac event. As a healthy guy, at just 54, it shook our family. He had no symptoms whatsoever, and Kev (like most men) would NEVER get a routine check-up.

There’s a chance that if he had, he’d still be here, moaning at me about turning off light switches and complaining about Town’s chances of Premier League survival.

This year, my focus is not purely on men’s physical health, but the importance of men’s mental health. There is a stigma around men talking about their problems. But this stigma can F*** off! This year was a mega tough year for me. I had a pretty serious health scare, and some tough news to take work wise which meant I was pretty low. I got through with the support of my friends, family and girlfriend. I hope by being vulnerable here, some fellas might feel okay to do the same.

Since starting Movember, your donations have helped me raise over £7,500- and it’s something I’m immensely proud of. I’m growing the pubey Tash again this year, and hope some of you can join me.
