Another £30 has been donated to my Movember fundraiser by artist pal, Mike Emberton - this time from the sale of mounted prints of the gates to the City of Hull being shut on King Charles I. This not insignificant act ignited the English Civil War. Together with his own* donation of £10, Mike has so far contributed £90 to my campaign. (*All his own, really, since he has donated from his own art!)

'The Leadership Game' isn't applicable to Mike, but wanting to do something for the cause he offered five of his 'Hull Truth' series art-quality prints for sale on Facebook. The 'Spiders from Mars' print sold out in no time. Mike donated 100% proceeds, raising £50 for Movember!

Such an idyllic day, I took the morning off and gave BB a treat with a long walk to North Ferriby. Bonus - he scored! A rather tubby white poodle took a shine to him...
