Our Community's activity speaks for itself, so we'll let it:

THE ONE-OFF GET ONE ON!

Billy and Mark met through a group of ‘one-offs’ brought together by the Movember Foundation. The group regularly meets to discuss their journey with testicular cancer and to support other guys who have recently been diagnosed. Both have been Mo Bros ever since their diagnosis, and have been campaigning to make sure guys check themselves and keep on top of their physical and mental wellbeing. As a mark of all they've been through, they got themselves Mo Tattoos.

“The idea behind getting the tattoo for me is so I have a permanent symbol of the journey I’ve been through since I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in October 2012. Since then my friends, family and the Movember Foundation have been amazing support, and being part of the ‘one-off’ forum has introduced me to some amazing people in the same situation as me. I would like to say thank you to my wonderful girlfriend Leigh, for her support and encouragement of all of the fundraisers I do for Movember, and also for giving me Emily, our beautiful daughter. Having one testicle didn't stop me having children and testicular cancer never stopped me living my life.” - Billy

I’ve never been inked before in my life, but the first time I ever contemplated having a tattoo, was being prepped for surgery, when you’re essentially stripped down to the absolute basics of who you are.” - Mark

Billy has already pedaled a 60-mile bike ride in aid of Movember, and Mark has run a 10k Mo Run, with the charity now encouraging better physical health through its 30-day MOVE challenge.

GEORDIE JIM’S 'ESCAPE FROM BRADLEY'

Geordie Jim’s fundraising even this year was ‘Escape from Bradley’ his local village. In pairs, they had 24 hours to get as far away as they could with no mobile phone or no money…..

"Well, James and I completed our 24 hrs challenge away from the Slaters Arms and back. We did it in 24 Hours and 35 mins. No money, no credit cards etc. just the generosity of people along the way. We have to thank, W.Y.Metro, Virgin Trains, Thameslink Trains, Southern Trains, Wightlink Ferries, Hampshire Police, National Express, Aire Valley Taxis and numerous people we met along the way. There were amazing highs (getting to the Isle of Wight) and terrible lows, (spending the night in a bus shelter in Portsmouth) but the overall experience was amazing. Did I enjoy it, I suppose I did. Would I do it again - Not a chance!"

PARK PLAZA 'MOVE' ACROSS EUROPE

PPHE Hotel Group were getting their MOVE on the other day for Movember, and chose the Movember Foundation as their charity of choice. Nice one guys!

“Park Plaza hotels and art’otels in the UK, Netherlands and Germany were all moving for 6 hours today for Movember in the lobby and reception areas of our hotels to raise awareness of MOVE for Movember.  In the UK and Netherlands, all hotels participated. In Germany, we selected one art’otel and one Park Plaza hotel.  The hotels will be cycling, running or rowing for Movember and a combined 90 hours of Movement will have taken place from 7am to 7pm today across Europe."

They had costumes, cakes, refreshments and a whole lot of sweat - all in the name of the Mo!

AGENCY MO CHALLENGE'S

Delete Agency are raising funds by taking on some daring, brave and downright stupid challenges. Using their fab design skills they’ve created profile pictures to demonstrate to donors the lengths they will go to in order to raise funds for Movember. Wearing outlandish shoes for the month? Check. Eating Ghost chillis? Check. Naked star jumps? Not yet (BUT SOON!).

What will you do to change the face of men’s health?

Some have already happened, but there are still loads to come, so check out out events section and find your nearest HERE.
