My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

I'm going to ride the distance from Cambridge to Copenhagen (according to Google Maps) in November. Why Copenhagen? Why not. When this is all over I guess I'll have to pay a visit (by bike, of course)

Mental health is an increasingly apparent problem in the world, particularly with the pace of live we live these days. I, along with an awful lot of people, have previously been very ignorant of the impact of mental health on people. This year, with the help of lockdown, has made it apparent to me how much of an issue this can be to so many of us, even for those of us who might not feel we have a particular mental health issue ourselves.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
