Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence, just like my Dad - who committed suicide 4 years ago.
The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

One of the most worth while causes. As a mental health nurse, i know first hand there is not enough support.

Well done Trott and for a good cause. My Dad failed to talk about his feelings and bottled them up and his Dad was the same. Alcohol was his way of dealing with things and eventually it led to him attacking my mum which meant he lost his whole family. I am luck that i have broke this circle due to an amazing wife and a desire to be the best Dad i cam be to my daughter. Thank you for helping others to break this circle.

It’s finished! We made it! Over 36,000 steps! Couldn’t have done it without all the incredible support everyone has shown me. I can’t thank you all enough and your donations will make a huge difference. I’m extremely humbled and proud of us all right now!

Good start to the morning! Worked out I only need to do around 1040 steps per day until the end of the month to complete, but may as well do more if I can!

Dear Chris

I just wanted to drop you a quick personal note to thank you for your amazing work in raising funds to stop men dying too young.

As the Global Director, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention at the Movember Foundation, I have had the privilege of speaking with men across the world who have directly benefited from the programs we fund. Some have told me that it’s thanks to these programs that they are alive today. I always tell these guys that it’s thanks to the MoBros and MoSistas from across the world that this important work is made possible, and assure them that that I will pass on this message to you – so on behalf of guys across the world and all of us at Mo HQ – thank you!

We appreciate your ongoing support to help us reduce male suicide by 25% by 2030.

So, today I'm kicking off my challenge - to Climb the equivalent of Mount Everest on a Stair Master machine at the Gym! That's 36,000 steps - roughly 1200 steps a day!

Wish me luck and leave a donation if you can! I'm doing it raise awareness of Mental Health issues and to help suicide prevention. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence, just like my Dad - who committed suicide 4 years ago.
