Lead the charge: Become a Community Ambassador

Movember are looking for Community Ambassadors to fly the flag for men’s health. If you’re up for the challenge to inspire your networks to fundraise for Movember, and are passionate about sharing your story, this is your chance to make a difference.

Our Community Ambassadors raise awareness and funds for men’s health in their local community. You could be involved in everything from speaking to media, hosting events, to motivating others to fundraise themselves.

The role is a voluntary, year-round position, with most of the action taking place during our campaign period (September to December).

What makes an outstanding Community Ambassador?

• Fundraising for Movember with a target of £1000+ during the course of the campaign. Easy peazy.
• Giving time to represent Movember for various activities. Including sharing your Movember connection to media, community and corporate audiences.
• Host fundraising events within your community.
• Spread awareness of our cause areas during key moments of the year, such as Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.

How we’ll support you in this role

• Training, so you have all the knowledge and understanding you need to fulfil the role confidently.
• A Movember staff member will be dedicated to Community Ambassadors. They will be on hand to help with any queries or questions and general support.
• You’ll receive a Movember Ambassador pack full of swag so you look the part.
• You’ll receive a kit of posters & flyers so you’re all set to spread the word in your community.
• Invites to Movember events. Some exclusive. All fun.

Training

We will be hosting a training day in London on 6th September. It’s encouraged to try and attend in person, however we will host an online session for those who cannot make it.
