Become a Community Ambassador!

Have Fun, Do Good: Become a Community Ambassador
2 MIN READ
Movember is committed to stopping men from dying too young, but we need your help.

Make a difference and help men live happier, healthier, longer lives by becoming a Movember Community Ambassador.  Join a global network of fellow Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, as an integral member of the Movember team by championing our fundraising efforts and getting others to talk about men’s health issues – whether it be hosting events, talking to the media or giving talks yourself.

As a Movember Community Ambassador, you’ll be embarking on an empowering and fulfilling experience that will not only change others lives, but yours as well. But don’t just take it from us, learn from some of our Community Ambassadors themselves.

Coming in to his 8th year as a Mo Bro, and his second year as a Movember Community Ambassador, Tim Ballard is one of our two brilliant ambassadors based in Wales. As part of his Ambassadorial role Tim grows one of the strongest Mos in the country, hosts an annual fundraising ball (the “Mo Ball”), takes part in his local Mo Run, and works hard at engaging his workplace and local sports clubs in the campaign. To add to all that, this year Tim is running for men’s health in the New York marathon!

“It’s a privilege to be involved with such an engaged, innovative team at Movember and hugely rewarding to support the vital work of the Foundation”

Ross is a 8-year Mo Bro, a member of Police Scotland and is coming in to his third year as a Movember Community Ambassador. As an ambassador, Ross capitalises on his networks within the police force by recruiting his colleagues to grow Mos and join his Movember team. He runs competitions with staff in the police force, holds events and promotes men’s health messaging through the intranet. The annual Police Scotland Bake-off & Bake has become a serious highlight on the calendar. Ross also engages his son's rugby club, one of the biggest outside of Glasgow, and has recently completed the London Marathon. Ross has raised over £25,000 through the Scotland Police to date, and this incredible achievement continues to grow.
