Every Movember, University students across the UK come together to support the Mo and raise life-saving funds and awareness for men’s health. Last year alone saw 20,000 students raising an unbelievable £2million for men's health research and programs. Not to mention starting countless conversations on campus and playing a vital role in breaking down stigmas around mental health.
Join the movement and you could help build team spirit on your campus and create friendly competition between teams and your rival uni. Join your university’s challenge page and compete for top spot on the live leaderboard in our Big Moustache on Campus challenge. And take your personal fundraising up a gear in the top 20 student leaderboard – prizes and eternal glory up for grabs for the winners.
Whether you’re in a team with your club, society, or housemates – or flying solo, there are lots of ways you can get on board and have an impact this Movember. As well as Mo’ing your own way, you can Grow, Move and Host your way through the month.
Give your razor a break this Movember and get growing that glorious Mo. Want to take it even further? We’ve seen all sorts: from shaved heads, to mullets, to multi-coloured hair! We encourage creativity, because Whatever You Grow Will Save A Bro.
Take on a physical challenge with Move. Run 60km throughout the month to represent the 60 men who die by suicide every minute of every day around the world. Make it a team effort and create a daily route around campus that your fellow students can join. Stay physically active, whilst raising vital funds and awareness.
Students are experts at putting on fun and unique events. Why not host one for Movember? Hot wings eating contests, 24-hour dance-athons, pub quizzes, and varsity sports matches are just some of the awesome events we’ve seen from university students. You’ll be having fun whilst doing good.
