The Movember Foundation is committed to changing the face of men’s health, but we need your help.

Join the thousands of students, teachers and staff members who fly the Mo flag every Movember for men’s health. Get on board with your school, make a difference and help men live happier, healthier, longer lives.

In the UK, three out for four suicides are men and testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men and boys aged 15-45. Encouraging boys and young men to engage with their health at a young age is a benefit that can last a lifetime. School is the perfect place to begin that education and ensure a healthy future for the next generation of men.

There are lots of ways schools can get involved in Movember this year. We have amazing schools taking part who put on fundraising events, talks and get the boys growing mo’s. Last year Lawrence Sherriff schools did an awesome job raising £2,205. They did this by raising awareness through assembly presentations, daily notices and poster campaigns across the school. Several fundraising events were organised including a dodgeball tournament, blue fundraising day - where everyone wore blue, baked and sold blue cakes - staff vs students basketball game and a student band concert. Get as creative and fun as you like, anything which raises funds and awareness for men’s health is up our street.

To get on board, it’s simple. Sign up on movember.com and start your Mo journey. Why not set up a team for your fellow teachers or classmates? Or ask us to set up a challenge page which your whole school can be part of.

We have a whole suite of specific resources available to schools including lesson plans, quizzes, ideas for student-led activities, event ideas and health awareness tools. To enquire about any of these materials just get in touch with ronnie@movember.com.

We would love to have your support. Please join us this Movember and help us stop men dying too young.
