My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Earlier this year I challenged my brother, Jono, to run a Marathon between our houses from Brae to Quarff (or Quarff to Brae) before the winter solstice 2020. This has sparked many weekend training sessions running longer distances in various places in Shetland so that we are all set for making the distance. And we are loving it! We will also be joined by Tina (Jono's wife) for the final 5K of our Marathon, who has recently completed the couch to 5k challenge and wants to join us in the final 5K of our run.

We are on track to be able to run this distance by the end of November and thought it would be good to help raise funds and raise awareness for the Movember charity who are the leading charity changing the face of men's health. We are joining them by taking part in MoRunning virtual marathon challenge. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Our dad had prostate cancer several years ago which was quickly dealt with and he is now fully recovered thanks to the awareness to catch it fast! Movember can help many others become aware to help stop men dying too young. And in the times we are currently living in there needs to be as much help offered to everyone who needs a helping hand.

Please help us reach our team target of £500 by donating to my profile page or our team page- The Snot Rockets!

Thankyou for any support you can give whether it be monetary or just cheering us on to our goal. We got this!

All the best,
Wills
