My motivation

We are fundraising for prostate cancer because this disease impacts more lives than we often realize. In the UK, 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, making it the most common cancer among men. Each year, over 52,000 new cases are diagnosed, and tragically, nearly 12,000 lives are lost.

This is not just a statistic; it hits close to home. Several of our colleagues have recently been diagnosed, reminding us how personal this battle truly is. By fundraising, we are not only supporting life-saving research but also standing in solidarity with those we know and care about—working together to create a future where prostate cancer is preventable, treatable, and ultimately, curable.
