My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Testicular cancer

I'm raising funds and awareness this Movember (granted I’m a bit early lol) for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. I need your help to grab mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer by the balls!

Between the the 14th - 20th June 2021 I’ll be covering a distance of 150km on my bike in order to raise awareness and funds to help all those worth causes mentioned above!

I’d really appreciate your support for this worthy cause (of which I totally understand there are many others) but I’d be super chuffed if you would please make a donation for my chosen causes and help to support men's health.

No matter how big or small the donation, every little helps!

Thanks!

Owain Doull kindly shared his personal reasons for supporting Movember last year. He's given his backing to the 150 as well. He talks about why it's important to keep supporting others, and reaching out for help when facing mental health issues ourselves.

Hey 150 crew, here are my top 3 tips to help raise vital funds for Movember.

1. Timing is everything. Pay day is approaching at the end of the month, a good time to ask for support. Start fundraising early as well, and it makes it easier to hit your target.
2. Donate to yourself, if you can. It can get the ball rolling, but also shows you're really serious about fundraising.
3. Rally your friends. More riders multiply your fundraising, together. See what you can achieve on a group ride.

Don't forget our water bottle and jersey rewards as well for raising £100 and £500 respectively. Best of luck!

*** Update ***

Route planning is underway!

I’ll be looking to do the 150km in as few sessions as possible. Currently looking at attempting it within 1 day and in one continuous route if that’s feasible.

As a back up, I have a route already mapped out which is 50km, which would allow me to complete 3 laps of that route to achieve the same distance.

As I’ve achieved my fundraising goal within less than 24hrs of making it live, due to the amazing generosity of some very amazing folks, I’ve decided to increase it, in order to see if we can still continue to raise more funds for these awesome causes!
