My motivation

Every hour 60 men across the world lose their lives to suicide and the “Movember” movement has made it their mission to increase men’s health and reduce premature deaths among men by 25% by 2030.

•

Along with growing a moustache I will be tackling a challenge in which I previously completed during the lockdown period in which I ran 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. However, I have decided to up the ante slightly.

•

On the 26th of November to the 29th of November I will complete the “6x6x60” where I will run 6 miles every 6 hours for 60 hours to help raise awareness for every man we lose every hour globally.

•

Any donations towards the Movember movement will be extremely appreciated and can be made via the link at the bottom of this post and will go collectively towards Alloa Academy’s joint contribution to the campaign.

•

I truly believe that mental health is a huge problem among men and campaigns such as Movember are doing great work in raising awareness of mental health in men and also helping us all talk more freely about our mental health.
