My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Testicular cancer

I used to think Movember was a good excuse to grow facial hair, but now I get it...

I am sad to say that a month ago I found a tumour on my left nut which turned out to be cancerous. I am absolutely fine and luckily I have caught this early by acting quickly. Despite this being a rare cancer it is very curable if caught in its infancy.
Two weeks ago I had an operation which has now left me ‘han solo’ however, I am enjoying the new lighter, sleeker look.
The bad news is I have an aggressive type of ‘TC’, so the next step is to seek a private oncologist and either face five years of surveillance or chemotherapy.

I have struggled to tell people because it’s a weird thing to bring up in conversation and I’m going to be absolutely fine. However I feel it is important to share my experience and encourage friends, husbands and sons to check their goolies. Please can you all have a feel of your vegetables and make sure you don’t have anything growing where it shouldn’t be. Turns out that white, tall, 20-40 year old men with small willies tend to be the unlucky ones!

Please don’t call or feel you need to say something sympathetic. But DO get on board and spread the word or grow a tash to create awareness #Livestrong x

Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from testicular cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
