As the late, great George Harrison once sang: ‘all things must pass’. And, as no stranger to facial hair himself, I think the former Beatles’ words are fitting to mark the end of Movember 2011. For the last 30 days I’ve become rather fond on my mo. The thing about moustaches is, even if you’re not sure at first, you find they grow on you. Cheap gags aside, I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me in my charitable endeavour so far – but remember, it’s not too late! Sponsorship stays open for several days after the end of Mov so if you haven’t done so already, please donate. Reaching the £300 mark before the event finishes is distinctly possible! Until next year, face fuzz aficionados…

Al fresco Mo! With just one week left, I am now faced with the looming prospect of saying goodbye to my tache for 11 months - and just as the plucky little fella was starting to find his feet in the world. Not once but twice have I recently been stopped by perfect strangers and given some appreciation for my folical effects. Feel the love. In other news, I am one of a merry trio of Mo Bros at my office and this afternoon we took to the balacony on the top floor for an impromptu photoshoot for our internal magazine. This week also saw my fundraising total surpass £200, so thank you to everyone who donated - especially the anonymous person who gave £20 the other day, you know who you are.

Hello face furniture fans! Just over half-way through Movember and I'm pleased with the progress of my tache (if I do say so myself). Do you agree? Why wouldn't you? Perhaps you agree so much you'd like to donate some money to the cause, namely raising money for and awareness of prostate and testicular cancer. Go on, you know it makes sense. Thanks y'all!

So far, so mo - I have now passed the one week point of Movember and, as anyone who's seen me around the office can testify, the top-lip hair is sprouting nicely. I'm becoming quite proud of my facial fuzz and I awake each morning, eager to check my reflection in the mirror and see how much my furry little friend has progressed. Now for the friendly reminder: as fun as it is to grow a mo, I'm also doing it for a very good cause. Movember supports prostate and testicular cancer charities so for those of you who haven't already (very kindly and extremely generously) given your support, I'd really appreciate it if you could please spare a few moments of your time and a couple of quid of your hard-earned cash. Donations reached £100 in no time so now I'm aiming to reach £200 before the end of the month - with your extremely welcome support that should be an easily-acheivable target. Many thanks! Jim

Good morning moustache fans. Movember is underway! Having cut myself to all manner of ribbons on Monday evening I can confirm that my chin is baby's bum smooth and my top lip has taken on the consistency of sandpaper. Watch this space - the mo's a-coming!

It's been a donation frenzy! Just a few short hours from publicising my forthcoming mo, I've already received more than £50. Thank you very, very much! For those of who haven't yet made a donation, no amount is too small (nor to large, obviously) so please dig deep!

Hello world!   As the son of a prolific mo-sporter (my old man has 53 years under his belt, and counting) I've sported various levels of face-fuzz since the onset of manhood. Over the last couple of years I've found myself admiring the steadily-growing legion of 'tache wearers, particularly those who grow one especially for the month of Movember.   I've decided to take the plunge and grow one myself and I'd very much appreciate your sponsorship.   Yours in mo'ing Jim   http://mobro.co/jimranger
